I am excited to share my personal project! It began when I discovered some design challenges online and realized I could express my passion for nature, climate, travel, and peace. My goal was to keep it simple with minimal colors and typography.
Challenges
In the pursuit of creating an impactful brand identity, I encountered a significant challenge: striking the right balance between typographic elements and visual simplicity. To achieve this, I opted for a harmonious blend of typography and subtle imagery, aiming to enhance the brand’s overall effectiveness.
Additionally, my focus was on selecting a font typeface that seamlessly merged modern aesthetics with a touch of class and premium appeal. It was crucial that this typeface could adapt across various assets and mediums without compromising its inherent value. While serif fonts often dominate the logo landscape, I deliberately chose the “Awesome Sirf” serif typeface for most assets. Its distinctive letterforms added a dynamic quality, making the brand feel both contemporary and approachable. For the logo itself, I turned to the “Cirka” typeface, drawn to its elegant rendering of the letters “a” and “c.”
In summary, Mondi Travel’s visual identity thrives on the delicate interplay of typography, simplicity, and carefully chosen typefaces—a testament to our commitment to excellence.
