Pepsi Summer Packaging

The idea behind this project was to showcase the contrast a consumer feels during summer. The consumer standing in the center and facing the sun depicts summer, and the girl's backside shows the cooler side. It's a battle between the sun and the moon, Fire and Ice, & Summer and Pepsi.
In summer, people feel agitated, annoyed, and exhausted with heat and sun. It's advised to keep our soul calm & composed with
the mind relaxed. The solution is to keep ourselves hydrated at all times, wherein our hero product Pepsi comes into play. Pepsi comes in with extra cooling and soothing flavors. It helps elevate your mood and brings back your lost energy. So, whenever you feel down, take a break, sit back, relax and sip a bottle of pepsi.
Here is a rundown of the process for the illustration. Hope you enjoy the process and also my sketching time-lapse video.

The first image is a Basic pencil and paper illustration. I know it's a really messy artwork but hey It's supposed to be like that. :)

Next, I took my pencil wireframe sketch into Adobe fresco and tried digitizing it. I did make a few changes that I felt could add more depth and meaning to the illustration.
Later, just from a reference point of view, I added the colors that I thought would represent my final illustration.
I know, It still is messy or maybe the word is messier ;)
but have a little patience and I will make it cleaner.

Here is a time-lapse video of my digital sketching process. I needed the reference just to be efficient and quicker while drawing.

So, After digitizing the sketch, I brought the outlines into Adobe Photoshop and added colors based on the palette I chose before. After I was certain of the colors I started adding highlights and shadows giving the illustration more depth and feeling. I finished it off with few color adjustments & grading.
This is the final GIF I made showcasing the process. To be honest, it looks better when you see a process GIF.

Coming down to the business stuff, and I literally mean the business side of things i.e., branding. I will start with my favorite GIFs followed by a poster for Pepsi with the tagline "Har Ghoont mein Swag Hai" which translates in English to "Every sip has swag" or "Enjoy every sip in your special swag".
