Quetzal is a chocolate brand focused on creating some delicious new flavours of chocolate never explored before. Bringing for the first time dark chocolate made of Green Tea leaves, Ruby chocolates, and
Berry-Berry proving the much-needed vitamins to your body.
The Mexicans believed that cacao seeds were the gift of Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom, and the seeds once had so much value that they were used as a form of currency.
The name Quetzal was named after the Mexican god of wisdom "Quetzalcoatl".
Interestingly there is also a bird found in Mexico called "Quetzal" , which has very striking colours.
This project has a mix of illustrations and packaging designs for different flavours.
My main goal was to design unique illustrations for the packaging that didn't feature chocolates, nature, plants, or cocoa. I aimed to create a bold and powerful feminine vibe while considering the various flavors offered by the brand and selecting packaging colors accordingly.
